From the Archives: Our Baby Shower in Atlanta
Our girl turns 8 this winter and I could not be more proud of the brave, kind and smart girl she has become. I have been going through the archives recently and came across blog posts from my Baby Shower. This mama heart just could not bare to press delete, so I'll share them here instead. This was such a beautiful time in my life and I am so looking forward to all the beautiful moments ahead.
This Thanksgiving, I had so much to be thankful for - an uneventful and healthy pregnancy after a three year journey of trying to start a family, a thriving business, and a new house in a new state with new friends who have welcomed me into their community with open arms. When we announced our pregnancy, we received so much support from our friends and family both near and far. My cousin and two best friends since the 6th grade threw me a beautiful baby shower back home in Dallas, Texas. I was also asked by a dear friend and fellow creative, @BlueGrayGal if she could throw me an Atlanta Baby Shower. TWICE I was celebrated and surrounded by a room full of strong women. I am the luckiest girl in the world. Below are some snaps of the day!! Thank you so much to everyone who came to celebrate our baby girl.

To start, I will bombard you with a million cupcake pictures... because they were all so pretty I couldn't help but photograph them ALL. Llama & Cactus Cupcakes were to match the Llama & Cactus Nursery we are finishing up, and the camera cupcake, because well, you know...
