A Rainy Day Family Mini Session | Cheatham Hill

Family Portraits at Cheatham Hill

Most families reschedule their family portrait session if the forecast promises rain; and I understand 100%. In fact, I rescheduled our own engagement session due to rain... I just really wanted everything to look a certain way! But THIS session reminded me of the magic that can happen during a rainy photoshoot. I really needed that extra pick-me-up of what can happen when you roll with the punches; If you live in Atlanta, you know what the rain has been like this summer! This adventurous family took the risk, hoping the rain would calm down to a mere mist... and it did! Sure, we had some wet tousled hair... but everything was simple and organic and natural in the most beautiful of ways. I'm excited to share some of the magic of rainy day snuggles here with you today... and hope you're inspired to book your next mini session and set intentions to embrace any chaos, knowing that the love and joy always shine through.
