There is something so special about being welcomed into a family's home during those first few weeks with a new baby. This Midtown Atlanta newborn session was my first time meeting this sweet family, and it was such an honor to document this exciting new chapter for them.

And of course, no family portrait session would be complete without including the family dog! I always love when pets are part of newborn sessions because they are such an important part of the family. This sweet pup stayed close by throughout the session and made a few appearances in the photos, creating memories that will be even more meaningful in the years ahead.

What I love most about in-home newborn photography is how relaxed it feels. There is no pressure for everything to be perfect. Babies can take breaks, parents can settle in comfortably, and we can focus on capturing genuine connection rather than forcing poses. The result is a collection of images that reflects this season exactly as it is—beautiful, emotional, and uniquely yours.

I take a limited number of newborn sessions each month and am now booking through fall. To reserve your spot, you'll select a week closest to your due date when booking, and I will be in touch as that date approaches to finalize your session. I intentionally keep this process flexible to accommodate the unpredictable nature of newborn arrivals and to ensure each family receives the attention and care they deserve.
