As summer weather draws to a close and school is starting, I'd love to share with you a Senior Session from the beginning of summer in Clearwater, Florida.
This senior session WEEKEND was a true labor of love. Lili's mama and I worked together for a couple of years when we lived in Denver, Colorado. Lily was entering high school and I was always so impressed with her - polite, respectful, kind and driven to do the right thing. I had the opportunity to do a multi-generational portrait session with their family and we often talked about one day doing Lili's Senior Portraits. When I found myself living across the country when it came time for her Senior Portraits, we decided to meet up in Clearwater since one of Lili and Monica's favorite things to do is visit various beaches (I'm not kidding... this is TOTALLY their 'thing' - I'm jealous! ha!). The setting made total sense for this family so we rented an air bnb and counted the days.
My favorite thing about her Senior Session was her incorporation of Ellie the Elephant. Ellie had been everywhere Lili had visited - they've traveled together since Lili was a baby. I thought it was brilliant of her mama to suggest the two of them have a few pictures made together (yes... I teared up!).
Lili runs track and swims so she also wanted to incorporate her Letter Jacket and we also included a mini family session during the weekend. I know that I will get to see Lili go on to do amazing things with her life and I'm so proud to know her and her family. Congratulations Lili, Class of 2020! Here are just a few of my favorites from the weekend...
All the Best,
Amber Gossett
