Ahhh Spring is here... or at least it's supposed to be, in Atlanta anyway. Today I woke up to a very unspring like 21 degrees. Now, I love cold weather so I'm not complaining... but I know my spring portrait sessions will go a lot smoother if the children and seniors aren't shivering in their spring clothing while it is freezing out! So c'mon spring! Because spring family portrait sessions and senior portraits are right around the corner!

Anyway, since senioritis is in the air, I wanted to share a Senior session that I did at the end of last year. I had not yet had a session at the beautiful Georgia Tech Campu, so I was in a complete photographer's dream land with all the fall colors showing off and the stunning architecture. Yes please to all the gorgeous lines, rosy pink tones thrown from the old red brick and the colorful tree lined walkways! Not to mention, this graduate had his sweet girlfriend tag a long with, which was super helpful! Bringing someone along that makes you smile is key for getting the perfect portrait! During this senior portrait session, we made sure he had cap and gown pictures, the perfect head shot for the job hunt, some pictures including Georgia Tech Campus "landmarks", plus a few of the loveliest couple. So, without further ado...

A few more months after this session, one of my favorite things about this business happened...

I got to do a session with Josh's entire lovely family! That truly is my favorite thing about photography -- really getting to know families and the people in front of my lens; I love to work with a family year after year, watch children grow, and document important milestones. And I can't wait to see many of you this spring!

Now, let's just hope for temperatures somewhere above 21 degrees ;)
